Full title reads: “Dublin. Jumping’s ’Blue Riband’. Switzerland - on Irish-bred horses! - wins the Aga Khan’s magnificent Trophy - England Second, Pick of 6 nations competed.“ Dublin, Eire, Southern Ireland, Republic of Ireland. CU head of winning show jumping horse. Shots of a horse taking a jump in the arena. Shots of the Governor General James McNeill and Irish President William Cosgrave. More shots of show jumping. Competitors came from Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, France, England and Irish Free State. The Governor General presents the winners with rosettes and a trophy. The winners take a lap of honour around the arena following a mounted band. Intertitle reads: “Lord Powerscourt presented every competitor with a ’chance’ in Irish Free States’ great £100,000 Sweep on the Manchester November Handicap.“ Viscount Powerscourt hands out tickets for the Irish Sweepstake to competitors in the show jumping competition.
