Cabba VS SSJ4 Gogeta Isn’t Fair

Cabba VS SSJ4 Gogeta Isn’t Fair ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ My Twitter~ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ KAKAROT WE NEED TO FUSE… VEGETA THIS IS BASE CABBA WE ARE UP AGAINST. After seeing the wave of memes about Cabba beating Ssj 4 Gogeta, and seeing Avent and Lonk as well drop their takes on the topic, today I wanted to step in and discuss not only this debate, but Cabbas scaling and narrative in general. I feel like the scaling is pretty well known at this point but I’ll not only be going over that but how powerful Cabba is by the end of Super, and see where he’s at. Alot of scaling regarding Dragon Ball Z vs Dragon Ball Super & Dragon Ball GT has risen in popularity, especially with putting GT characters like Super Saiyan 4 Goku & Vegeta, Gogeta, Omega Shenron, and others against Super characters like Jiren, Broly or even on the minor scale, Cabba. A good starting point for us can be the Universe 6 tournament, where we see Vegeta face off against Cabba in base. In both the manga and anime, Cabba and Vegeta are just equal in base in terms of raw power, which is what leads into Vegeta going super saiyan as the match would just go nowhere. It’s revealed that Cabba can NOT transform and in contrast to Universe 7 Saiyans, he’s actually a kind warrior who doesn’t show violence in particular. He does fight and will if he has to but he doesn’t have that killer saiyan instinct, rather he uses strategy and shows respect towards his opponent. It’s established by Whis as well that universe 6 Saiyans simply function differently, which is why Cabba is abnormally more powerful than Vegeta, despite not being anything like the other Saiyans we’ve seen before. Which leads into Vegeta helping him transform by beating that instinct into him and threatening to destroy his home world. Way to go vegeta. This actually works in the long run, allowing Cabba to go into super saiyan. And despite the difference in super saiyan grades, with Cabbas rage he’s able to at least impress Vegeta, and we know at the very least he got 50x stronger with the super saiyan form. Unfortunately after this he gets beat up by Super Saiyan Blue, showing him that there is a level that he needs to work towards, giving him not only a new mentality but a reason to get stronger. And now with that out of the way let’s stop and discuss Cabbas scaling. So Cabba by this point should be atleast 50x stronger than Base Vegeta from this arc. This Vegeta had just done training for 3 years in the time chamber with Goku, meaning he’s far stronger than his ROF Counterpart. Goku and Vegeta by this point are just on the same level, and Goku in base has well surpassed his super saiyan god self. We even see in the manga as well Goku in base survive a blast from Blue and then show relativity to Vegeta, which would be a better feat than anything in Z unironically. That level of energy at the very worst is 50x above the punches Goku and Beerus were throwing. Mind you this is Cabba in JUST his first appearance and he already became the 2nd strongest fighter of Universe 6, and has a new desire to become even better. We’d see during this time Goku would get 10x stronger from his fight with Hit as when he rematches him he doesn’t need Blue Kaioken this time. And we know Vegeta got much stronger since his fight with Black. The reason I’m drawing attention to this is because in terms of base to base power Cabba and Caulifla shouldn’t be ridiculously far off, in the manga we know Cabba needed ssj to beat her but in the anime it makes sense for Cabba and her to be close. Him going into ssj 2 is to show how he doesn’t need Vegeta to help him find his way, rather he needs to find it on his own, which gives us a pretty wholesome moment of Cabba discovering ssj 2 and putting down this fat fighter from universe 4. Unfortunately this is where Cabbas streak ends, and really besides this episode we don’t get much with Cabba and Vegeta’s dynamic.
