At Melbourne Zoo in Victoria, Australia we see a 7-month-old tigress being taken for a walk on a lead by a smartly-dressed woman. Several shots of monkeys, supposedly reacting to the commentary. The tigress lies down in front of the monkey cage for a ruffle of the fur from the lady; M/S of two monkeys hugging each other. In Northumberland we see a huge load of hay in a field being pulled onto a horse-drawn cart. A new invention called the hay sweep is demonstrated; long teeth fixed onto the front of a car pick up a large mound of hay and carry it in front of the car as it drives along. M/S of the horse-drawn cart moving slowly across the field with its hay, being overtaken by the car speeding along with its load. The car deposits it near a massive haystack.
