PRESSINGS COMPARISON: Boney M.’s “Nightflight To Venus“ Hansa (Germany) vs. Sire (US), 1978

I never comment on the comparisons I make to avoid any kind of biasing, but in this case the difference is pretty obvious. I have the uttermost respect for US-made products, but the US LP in this video seems made by the worst record company in Colombia. I wonder how and why Sire Records allowed this to be released. Anyway, you can check it with your own ears. This is Boney M.’s “Nightflight To Venus“ from 1978, and the track chosen for this comparison is “Never Change Lovers In The Middle Of The Night“. EDIT: After some exchanges with my friend @DJ Mike Brady, who got a Sire copy with the same catalog number, there’s a big chance that my US copy is a counterfeit. We don’t know for sure, but it’s quite possible.
