Israeli historian Ilan Pappé says that despite the carnage in Gaza, he is hopeful that we may be seeing the “collapse of the Zionist project“ due to growing international outrage at Israel. “I am really hopeful that there will be a different kind of life for both Jews and Arabs between the river and the sea.“
