Transcanal stapedotomy for oval window dysplasia with abnormal route of the facial nerve

(Language: english & french). Left transcanal stapedotomy with vein graft interposition and ossiculoplasty with Teflon piston for congenital stapes ankylosis. Middle ear exploration reveals an oval window dysplasia with abnormal route of the facial nerve coursing over the footplate. There is a malformed stapes superstructure which is not connected to the footplate (Teunissen-Cremers Class IV).
