DIY dovetail pencil box | Cherry wood | Firewood-project

#woodworking #diy 🍒🍒🍒 Dovetail joints for the first time! 🙋‍♀️ My new cherry wood pencil box not only looks beautiful, it also brought back memories for my mom. She told me that this was the kind of pencil box she used when she was at school. The wood also comes from a once huge cherry tree, which I used to climb up a few decades ago to pick the most beautiful, juicy cherries. Incidentally, I used firewood. Unfortunately, the wood yield when cutting up the logs was very small - some of the boards were so puny that I could hardly sand them down, otherwise there would have been nothing left. I used fish glue for gluing. And I oiled it with linseed oil. ▶️ (👉゚ヮ゚)👉 If you want to support my channel - please subscribe 🫶 ▶️ Please leave a comment 💬 and give my video a 👍 if you like it.
