October 2022. In the centre of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. This is where Arabic and Russian cultures meet, among others. The Arabic influence can be seen not only in the architecture of this building but also in the windows which contain Arabic letters. Tashkent was destroyed several times throughout its history, in 1219 by Genghis Khan and in 1966 by an earthquake, it was rebuilt each time, the last time as a model Soviet city
