President Harry S Truman sits at a desk and chuckles to himself, saying “It’s perfect, it’s perfect!“ Then he waits for the signal to start his speech. (Interesting bit of candid Truman!) He then makes a speech about the life and work of the late President Franklin D Roosevelt and his founding of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis. He says the fight against infantile paralysis is an unfinished task of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and it must and will be carried to complete victory. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
