Made by Robert Carl Cohen, this film calls into question the ethics and democratic nature of the House Committee on Un American Activities (HUAC). The film combines archival footage from the 1930s of founding member Martin Dies as well as other footage from the Hollywood Witch Hunts, Hollywood Blacklist, 1958 Atlanta and 1960 San Francisco Hearings. Lastly, the film touches on the film “Operation Abolition” (1960), a propaganda film produced by the House Committee on Un-American Activities vilifying demonstrators.
