Desperate Afghans stand knee deep in sewage outside Kabul airport

Americans have left the Afghan people in the s**t both figuratively and literally, as hordes of natives have been standing knee-deep in sewage outside Kabul airport. Behind them are the Taliban, who are tightening the reins on Afghan people who wish to leave the country. Infront, the Western militaries that now decide who is worthy of rescue and who must remain. The dire scenes show people going to great lengths to secure passage out of Afghanistan, but clearly their hope is fading with every passing minute they spend standing in filth.
