Chaotic magnet and easy to build

The erratic behavior of a bar magnetic pendulum can be captivating when it’s movement become random due to the influence of attracting or repelling magnets placed near it pathway. Several variables can be explored to influence its behavior such as the number arrangement of the magnets, initial release position and mass of the bar. it’s easy to capture the movement of the bar using phosphorescent paper and violet laser.
