World Sabaki Challenge 2015 - Leon Muthunayake’s way to the World Championship (Fights’ Highlights)

I made this video as a birthday gift for my father, Shihan Chandana Muthunayake. Being my father and sensei at the same time he lead me to success not only in karate but in life. Due to his teachings and everlasting support I was able to grow as a person and I’m so thankful to have him in my life. This tournament was very memorable as it was my first participation in the World Championship and it was a long and tough way to compete in Denver. Countless hours of training and commitment made me ready to face the best Enshin and Sabaki fighters from the World! I can’t describe how overwhelming it was just to stand on that mat where martial arts legends had fought and where Kancho Joko Ninomiya had created a unique style. It was childhood dream to fight there and now it was my time. I would never have made it without my father! Happy Birthday Thatha! Love you very much! I hope you enjoy this memory! Osu!
