Handling Burgundy Goliath Birdeater Tarantula - Don’t Try this at Home

I don’t really recommend people doing this for their own entertainment. Theraphosa are not a particularly friendly genus and are typically defensive tarantulas with a voraciously powerful feeding response and don’t like being handled. Without medically significant venom, they have giant fangs, extremely powerful chelicerae, and some of the worst irritating setae of any tarantula. There is some language in this video.
