Saudi Arabia, Iran sign agreement for resuming diplomatic relations

China supports countries in the Middle East in upholding their strategic autonomy, strengthening solidarity and cooperation, eliminating external interference, and taking charge of their own future, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang declared on Thursday. Qin made the remarks in a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Beijing, according to a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
