🆘SHOCK! In the Philippines, severe floods are wreaking havoc! The rainy season is in full swing!

At least 17 people have died as a result of heavy rains and floods that have hit many regions of the Philippines. The National Council for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management said several low-pressure areas in some parts of the country experienced downpours and flash floods since the beginning of this month. The rains and floods forced at least five municipalities to declare a state of emergency. The data showed that 91,442 people were displaced by the rains and floods and moved to 173 evacuation points. Two people are still missing. More than 830 houses were damaged. Floods damaged 458 sections of roads, 62 bridges and 44 seaports. As a result, classes in educational institutions in 688 cities and municipalities were suspended. The Bicol region of the archipelago was the most affected, where at least five people died. The Philippines and surrounding regions suffer from dozens of floods, tornadoes and typhoons every year during the rainy season.
