BTR-82A Armoured personnel carrier

The BTR-82A armoured personnel carrier (APC) is designed to transport personnel of motor rifle units during the march or forces maneuver, crossing rough terrain and water obstacles, protecting the crew and troops against small arms fire, mines, shell fragments and NBC effects as well as defeating enemy manpower and lightly armoured targets.
