Russian attack fails as Ukrainian artillery strikes enemy personnel carriers in Robotyne

The Ukrainians foiled a Russian attack on their lines in Zaporizhzhia. Two BTR-82A Armoured Personnel Carriers try to charge a Ukrainian position. But they are spotted by artillery, with shells raining down on top of them. When a Ukrainian anti-tank missile hits the first carrier the crew flee for their lives, leaving the damaged vehicle to roll off across no-man’s land. The second BTR then beats a hasty retreat, as artillery hits the ground troops. Russia’s failed attack happened in Robotyne, which was taken by Ukraine in August. It was hope capturing the town would unlock Russia’s defences and produce a breakthrough for their counter-offensive - but that has not happened. However, Russia has also been unable to recapture the lost territory. #dailymail #russia #ukraine Daily Mail Homepage: Daily Mail Facebook: Daily Mail IG: Daily Mail Snap: Daily Mail Twitter: Daily Mail Pinterest: Get the free Daily Mail mobile app:
