However, most were skeptical about the true viability of a real-time fluid simulation tool. Soon after followed our first beta build and we’ve been in “beta“ for the past 3 years. Today, we are releasing EmberGen 1.0, a tried-and-true, battle-tested version of EmberGen that is ready to take on the many challenges in games, film, and your personal projects. We are confident that 1.0 is the BEST fluid simulation tool ever built. Ease of use, learnability, and quality have been our top priorities. If you’ve waited hours for simulations to sim and render in the past, those days are long gone. Thank you for the immense amount of support over the past few years as we have grown from a team of 5 to 20. We are investing in the future of visual effects and have many amazing things planned f
