Clapham suspect Abdul Ezedi likely drowned in Thames, police say

The suspect in the Clapham chemical attack is likely to have drowned in the River Thames, police believe. Abdul Ezedi had been on the run after a 31-year-old woman and her two children, aged three and eight, were doused with an alkali substance in south-west London last Wednesday. CCTV of the last known sighting of Ezedi shows him on Chelsea Bridge at just before last Wednesday. On friday, police confirmed that there had been no further sightings since then. It is now believed the 35-year-old went into the river from the bridge after CCTV footage showed him peering over the railings. #clapham #crime #police Read more here: Subscribe to The Telegraph with our special offer: just £1 for 3 months.
