’Pictorial Revue’ - reel 2.
Comedian / compere Ronald Frankau (in comedy moustache and hat) tells joke in Jewish / Yiddish accent about a man called Adolph Cohen in Berlin who wanted to change his name (’Adolph’, not ’Cohen’) - quite risque considering the political situation at the time.
Frankau introduces the O’Gorman Brothers. The pair do a comedy / acrobatic act (duplicate of PT 114 - see separate record for details).
Frankau introduces The Diamondos. Title introduces ’“The Dance of the Diamonds.“ Presented by the famous Continental Dancers The Diamondos’. Several shots of a man (in brief trunks) and woman (in bikini), both covered in amazing glittering paint from head to toe and wearing strange hard wigs. They perform a balancing dance act. Frankau appears in cap and curly moustache. In a cockney accent he introduces Ronald Frankau - himself! Cut to Frankau, dressed in the usual toff get-up. He performs a song about girls whose names start
