Algiers, Algeria Various shots of public buildings damaged by an OAS / Organisation de l’Armee Secrete (ultra - Nationalist French terrorist group) plastic bomb and debris on the streets. Various shots, interior of a building demolished by the bomb, firemen at work. Note: Date on original record: 20/04/1962. Contemporary report reads: “During this week the Algiers Rectorate of the University was severely damaged by a charge of 30 kilos of plastic...“ Three charges of N17 exploded near the entrance where soldiers were on guard duty, wounding nine but there were no deaths.
