GRAFTING OLD GRAPEVINES | 1 YEAR GRAFT UPDATE WITH FRUITS

Convert older grapevines using this grafting technique. After just one year you can expect production of fruits of the new grafted variety. The high root pressure that old grapevines can produce will “drown” most grafts, so excessive sap pressure will have to be released for graft success. In this video I show my favorite techniques to graft old grape vines, in the field and convert them to better suited varieties, along with some tips to increase graft success.
