This group of Hungarian Folk Tunes, are from “Gyeremekeknek“ (For children), originally for solo piano composed in Budapest between 1908 and 1909, comprised of 85 short pieces in four volumes. These selections were arranged by Szigeti, authorized by Bartok in 1927 were taken from volume 1 & 2 and originally numbered: 28, 18, 42, 33, 6, 13, and 38.
