Bradenton’s History-Making Nitro Show - Friday Qualifying With Night Runs!

A historic day at Bradenton Motorsports Park (next door to the Freedom Factory, owned by Cleetus McFarland) saw three huge sessions of nitro qualifying for the Top Fuel dragsters and Nitro Funny Cars at the PRO Superstar Shootout. Once again, I am recording video as I take photos for Drag Illustrated, so you can see what I see as I take the shots. Clay Millican put down a stunning run to lead the Top Fuel class (can you believe Brittany Force did not qualify!), while Austin Prock leads Funny Car for the John Force Racing team. But it was Bob Tasca making headlines with the fastest speed in drag racing history ( know, I know, there were once rocket cars...), busting the 340mph barrier.
