We got the chance to visit the disputed coffee capital of Mexico - or rather - undisputed coffee capital of Veracruz: Coatepec. Coffee beans were originally introduced into this region in 1808 from Cuba. The ground was found to have perfect conditions for producing coffee and the rest is history! Coatepec is a quaint pueblo magico with the smell of fresh roasted beans wafting through the streets of Centro.
