Raja Ampat - The Amazon of the Ocean

With its insanely clear waters, lagoons, waterfalls and gigantic jungles Raja Ampat is beyond your imagination. There is an unparalleled richness in wildlife and it’s not a coincidence that this gem is home of three-quarters of all known coral species in the world, but this place could be soon in danger. Over the last few years there’s been a noticeable increase in the amount of trash especially plastic in #RajaAmpat waters - Watch the video until the end to see more. Partecipa al mio corso online dedicato alla Post Produzione su DaVinci Resolve e scopri l’approccio creativo e il metodo che uso durante la realizzazione dei miei video: Every day approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our oceans. Plastics consistently make up 60 to 90% of all marine debris studied. Today, marine conservation is considered one of the greatest scientific problems on our planet. Ecosystems have changed irreversibly, ocean management is fragmented and oceans are managed independently of the terrestrial (land) environment. Nonetheless, given that 71% of our planet is covered by water, the state of our waterways is now one of our most pressing issues. The proceeds from the visualizations of this video will be donated to Sea Sheperd Global which is responsible for marine wildlife conservation. Their mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species. So, enjoy and spread the word: be the wave! 🌊 For more informations about Sea Sheperd Global Original Score by Federico Coderoni | Listen the original track on SoundCloud | Discover more about the Making-of of this video | Watch how I have applied the Visual FXs and see a visual breakdown of my editing Timelines on my 2nd Instagram account: Watch my other films: Dominicana: Londoners: Japan: Finland: Myanmar: Catalunya: Cuba: Venezia: Lanzarote: Reverie of Vietnam: Roma: Moments of Puglia: Mexico: Special thanks Leticia, Yann Martinie, Johanna and the amazing crow of the Nataraja, Ben and his splendid family, Debra & Ali - And to all the great people who helped in the making of this video.
