Robotic Deburring by Bastian Solutions

This robotic machine tending cell is designed to deburr aluminum castings. The cell includes a Fanuc LR mate robot with an ATI radially compliant deburring tool and is designed for manual intervention. The operator will manually load the desired casting into a custom designed fixture that clamps down and detects what part is there. Once the operator is clear of the cell he or she will initiate the system. A protective door closes and the robot moves to a tool lubrication location and then guides the deburring tool about the specified paths until deburring is complete.
