M1832 (US) — Woeful Cries of the Battleworn Patriots — 2023 full length

The first album, after two demos, of this confederate act. This is a very vigorous black metal act that is bookended by two tracks and a intermission fully into dungeon synth, and quite beautiful. The inner tracks (2nd and 4th) are as brutal as they can be even if they do not renegade the harmony while also injecting some degree of punk, especially the latter, which is the best black metal track I have listened to so far from this project. Despite the strength residing on such tracks, the majority of the record is woven by synths which grants a very ethereal characteristic to this record.
