Huge gator wrestled from airport tarmac

This might be known as ‘a typical Monday morning’ in Florida, but to the rest of the world it looks like fighting a rather large alligator. Staff at MacDill Air Force Base near Tampa spotted this unwelcome guest on the tarmac, casually hanging out next to a refueling aircraft. They alerted wildlife officials, who politely persuaded the gator to leave, using ropes and a remarkable amount of dexterity (and probably a stiff drink afterwards.)
