Tugmaster (1967)

Location of events unknown. Various shots of boats in dock. Tugs and larger cargo ships are seen. Various shots of “tugmaster“ at work guiding a boat through a narrow channel. Men on the towpath pull large ropes. The ship is called “Uganda“. Various other men are seen at work including man steering the Uganda. Other tugs are seen. C/U of the tug’s lifebelt. The tug is called “Plasma“ (bizarrely!) Another is called Plateau. Lines are thrown from the Uganda. C/U of the towline being released by the tugmaster. Various shots from inside the tug as it moves through the water. Shots of churning water. C/Us of ship’s controls as the wheel is turned. Two ropes are joined together. One of the tug’s crew reads a newspaper and is given a cup of tea. Man seen earlier at the wheel walks on dry land then is seen walking around the tug and into the control room.
