In geometry, the excavated dodecahedron is a star polyhedron that looks like a dodecahedron with concave pentagonal pyramids in place of its faces. This is a modular origami and the units are similar to my origami Dodecahedron, but with different angles (60º instead of 54º) to make equilateral triangles. The 30 units are well connected without glue. You can make it with or without the color changed edges depending on which side of the unit you use.
