I’m a natural disaster... Man, what an absolute banger Finana dropped after the outfit reveal! Tonally it’s a complete 180 from DCL, but it’s still every bit as great. Finana can play the “badass bitch“ role suprisingly well. The beat’s also really good too, some of Kira’s best production work. I’ve been wanting to do something in the stoner metal style for a while, but I knew this song wouldn’t fit the mellowed-out, weed-induced vibes most songs in the genre go for, but instead I wanted something more energetic & punk-infused. I turned to many bands for reference, including High On Fire and Acid Bath, but the number 1 source of inspiration, in case the logo didn’t make it apparent, is Mastodon.
