Regner Tram Nr; 102 ’Paul’ topless and running on blocks
This tram is fitted with radio control to the regulator and reverser, but here I am operating it manually. Due to the awful weather it has to be tested on blocks. The cylinder spring near the smokebox had suffered heat damage so she would not run. The spring was replaced and a shield was made up from copper to prevent it happening again. The tram has hardly been used and will benefit from a few more steamings. The cylinders still seem a little stiff and reluctant to start slow, but that will improve once it is run in. Regner recommend 10 steamings before it is truly run in.
