Pregnant Dolphin (1968)

Flamingo Park Zoo, Yorkshire. A pregnant dolphin called Captain is seen swimming around in a pool at Flamingo Park Zoo. Narrator explains that no-one in Britain has yet reared a dolphin. C/Us of pills being inserted into herrings to be fed to Captain. To make sure that the fish loaded with “pregnancy pills“ are given to Captain and not any of the male dolphins the vet has to turn frogman and get under the water to feed the Dolphin by hand.
