Artist Ibrahim Mahama reflects on the ghosts of global movement for Wales Bonner’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection For Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama, the repurposed coal sacks at the core of his installation work exist as the vessels of commodities – a shadow of globalization and economic exchange in African markets.
