Apidej Sit Hirun - Fighter of the Century (Highlight) | Classic Muay Thai

Muay Thai highlight of the legendary nak muay Apidej Sit Hirun. Apidej was an incredibly powerful kicker who held several titles during the 1960s and 1970s. He is widely considered to be the most powerful kicker of all time and actually broke both of Sompong Charoenmuang’s arms in a fight in 1963, forcing him to retire. Apidej retired at the age of 39 with a record of 290 wins, 1 draw and 9 losses and was crowned “Muay Thai Fighter of the Century“ by the King of Thailand. Some of Apidej’s most notable victories came against Danchai Yontrakit, Rawee Dejachai, Sompong Charoenmuang, Dejrit Ittianuchit, and Kongdej Lookbangplasoi.
