Mepps Spinner Fishing! (Bass Feeding Frenzy)

The Mepps spinner is one of those fishing lures that not only has stood the test of time, it seems to get better every time you use it. Spinners in general are great multi-species fishing lures, but there’s something about the mepps spinner that makes it stand out above the rest. The particular model of mepps spinner that I used in this fishing episode was the mepps aglia size two. I took my kayak out on a local pond here in Delaware hoping to catch a few fish on this mepps spinner. It was a pond that can be pretty tough to fish at times, so I went in with reasonably low expectations. However, the mepps spinner produced one of the best overall bass bites that I have experienced so far this year. it seemed like every cast I was reeling in another bass on the aglia. If this video isn’t a testament to the power of the mepps spinner, I don’t know what is!
