Raceway Reverse Tank Shifter Lever Installation

I picked up a couple of Raceway Tank Reverse Tank Shifter Lever kits while they were on sale during Christmas. I’ve already installed the one on the 2008 Tourist and I thought I would share the install of the kit on the 2010 Patrol. Overall the kit is of high quality and the install is easily accomplished in 30 minutes or less once you know what to do. Why have a tank placed reverse shift lever? Well, the shift lever next to the tank makes it much easier to change to reverse gear on the Ural but it also serves as a great neutral finder. By pushing on the reverse lever while pressing the heel shifter going into 2nd gear the reverse lever will slide forward as you reach neutral and making stopping at neutral extremely easy without even looking for the neutral light. -- Another Uraling Video dedicated to riding sidecar motorcycles built in Russia by IMZ-Ural.
