Bhindi do pyaza is a popular Indian dish made with bhindi and onions. The name “do pyaza“ literally means “double the onions,“ indicating that this dish contains a generous amount of onions. It is a vegetarian dish that’s known for its delicious and savory flavor. #bhindidopyaja #dopyaza #vegiterian #recipe Ingredients Quantity Oil 2 tbsp Lady finger 600 gms Cumin seeds 1 tsp Onion chopped 2 no Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Tomato chopped 2 no Salt to taste Coriander powder 1 tbsp Garam masala 1 tsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder ½ tsp Dry mango powder 1 tsp Ginger julienne 1 inch Green chilli slit 4-5 Onion diced 1 no Tomato diced (optional) 1 no Capsicum diced (optional) 1 no Fresh coriander chopped 2 tbsp Method Add oil in the kadai and heat on medium flame. Add cumin seeds and it splatters. Add onion and sauté 6-8 min till onion become brown. Add ginger garlic paste saute for 3-4 min. Add salt, chopped tomato and cook for 5 min or till mixer get pasty textured. Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dry mango powder, ginger julienne, green chilli slit and sauté 2 min. Add bhindi and cook for 8-10 min to remove stickiness. Add diced onion, tomato, capsicum, and mix well. Add water to adjust moisture of the dish. Add chopped coriander and mix well. Serve hot.
