🚆 4K Intercity-Express night ride (Cab Ride Switzerland | ICE Zürich - Basel SBB (- Frankfurt Main))

Very welcome to yet another night ride! No worries, though we are going to Basel at night again, it is on a completely different route than the last night trip to Basel. Please take a seat aboard the Deutsche Bahn Intercity-Express (or DB ICE in short) from Zurich to Frankfurt am Main, non-stop to Basel SBB. On the way to Frankfurt, the train changes its direction of travel in Basel. A colleague from DB will continue further and reach Frankfurt from Basel in just three hours’ time. The german ICE serves Switzerland for over 25 years. Today, they connect Hamburg with Chur, Kiel with Zürich and Berlin with Interlaken. The handover between SBB and DB is always in Basel SBB, therefore all ICE’s in Switzerland are driven by SBB personnel which are trained on the ICE. It’s a partnership between both companies and countries, also to be found on the international lines to Austria (Railjet), France (TGV) and Italy (Astoro/Giruno).
