Rural Village Cooking AZERBAIJANI BAKLAVA - Outdoor Cooking

How to cook traditional Azerbaijani BAKLAVA? We make baklava the way our ancestors made it. Baklava is a layered pastry dessert made of filo pastry, filled with chopped nuts, and sweetened with syrup or honey. The diamond shape of pakhlava is commonly associated with a star or fire in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani pakhlava is multilayered and commonly prepared with walnuts or almonds and flavored with saffron. It is generally made in a big baking tray. Would you like to eat such sweet baklava with your tea? We’re sure you would! Like and subscribe to see our videos about Rural Village Outdoor Cooking!
