Postbridge, Dartmoor. Long panoramic panning shot of the countryside, rocks, hills, all green and nice. M/S of a country house with a red telephone box next to it and a little red mailbox in the wall. Green door opens and dog comes out followed by a postman. This is obviously a post office and postman leaves to deliver the mail. M/S of a postman sorting the mail while walking towards his horse. They are at the river bank and a bridge can be seen behind them. C/U shot of postman’s hands putting the mail in his mail bag (mostly newspapers). C/U shot of the face of the postman. Cut back on his hands closing the bag. The postman is 62 years old Mr John Bellamy who is probably one of the last postmen in the world who is delivering the mail on horseback.
