Vipassana Metta Chant (Sabaka Mangal Hoye Re): Buddhist Chant of India

Sabaka Mangal Hoye Re (May Goodness Happen for All), is a chant of loving-kindness that is sung by SN Goenkaji at the end of most dharma discourses during the ten day silent vipassana meditation retreats. Here it is sung by a Vipassana meditator who heard it at a retreat, could not find it anywhere afterwards so resolved to sing it and put it out there. It has a pure and soothing quality and the message relates to wishing goodness to pervade all living things, in all realms. The pictures are taken from ; the Global Pagoda website.
