Gaza City laid to ruins in massive bombardment

Buildings in central Gaza City have been reduced to ruins following Israeli bombardments on Monday, local time. Footage shared with Storyful by the Filistin Post shows buildings crumbled to dust and cars completely destroyed. At least 900 people, including at least 140 children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip by Israel’s retaliatory airstrikes, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Israeli officials ordered a “complete siege” of the region after Hamas’ surprise attack over the weekend. Over 900 people were killed in Hamas’ attack, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
