Hamas military wing claims it launched ‘big missile’ attack on Tel Aviv

Sirens sounded in Tel Aviv as rockets were fired from Rafah, southern Gaza. Hamas claimed responsibility for the barrage. The Israeli army reported that eight rockets were launched towards central Israel, with several intercepted by the air defence system. Rocket sirens were also heard in cities such as Herzliya and Petah Tikva. The Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ armed wing, stated that the missile barrage was in response to “Zionist massacres against civilians.“ Al Jazeera correspondents Hani Mahmoud in Gaza, Imran Khan in Amman, and political analyst Akiva Eldar in Tel Aviv discuss the latest updates.
