Shirley Clamp slog igenom med sitt deltagande i Melodifestivalen 2004 med “Min kärlek“, en insats som gett henne en plats i Melodifestivalens Hall of Fame. Efter att ha tagit vägen via Andra chansen slutade bidraget på andra plats i finalen. Året innan debuterade hon i tävlingen med “Mr Memory“, och nu stället hon upp med sitt sjunde bidrag i tävlingen, vilket innebär att hon intar en delad tiondeplats på artistlistan över flest deltaganden genom tiderna. Senaste bidraget kom 2014, men så sent som i fjol programledde hon Andra chansen. Shirley Clamp har gett ut fyra studioalbum och en samlingsskiva. 2019 hade hon premiär på sin egen föreställning Shirley Clamp – nästan 20 år på scen om man avrundar uppåt, som snart får nypremiär. I höst spelar hon i en uppsättning av musikalen Sound of Music.
