I had the song ’Paul’ by Big Thief stuck in my head for weeks. It’s one of those songs that I feel like I’ve known forever, so there is something about it which feels so safe and comforting. I decided to record a cover during a difficult time in my life and doing so provided a little bit of calmness for me.
