Kieu Chinh talks new series ‘The Sympathizer’

Award winning Vietnamese American actress Kieu Chinh is chatting with us about her successful career and her newest project ‘The Sympathizer.’ When she was just starting out, her mother did not allow her to be an actor, so she missed out on an opportunity to work with a famous director. Luckily, the director remembered her, and she was able to make her break into acting years later. One of Kieu’s biggest movies was the 1993 movie film ‘The Joy Luck Club.’ She says that this movie was huge for Asian women representation, and she was proud to be apart of it. Her newest series ‘The Sympathizer’ has an all-star cast including Sandra Oh and Robert Downey Jr. Kieu shares that she was honored to work with everyone. You can check out the series now on Max.
