चुनावी साल में रक्षा मंत्रालय ने मोदी सरकार की योजनाओं का प्रचार करने का काम सैन्य और रक्षा प्रतिष्ठानों को सौंपने का फैसला लिया है। मंत्रालय ने थलसेना, वायुसेना, नौसेना, DRDO और BRO को 9 शहरों में 822 सेल्फी पॉइंट बनाने के निर्देश दिए हैं। इनमें PM मोदी की फोटो लगाई जाएगी। इसे लेकर कांग्रेस ने बीजेपी की शर्मनाक हरकत करार दिया है। कांग्रेस नेता जयराम रमेश ने इसकी शिकायत करते हुए राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू से अपील की है कि वो मामले में दखल दें और मोदी सरकार के गलत फैसले को तुरंत वापस लेने का निर्देश दें। इससे पहले सेना ने फैसला लिया था कि जो फौजी छुट्टी पर जाएंगे उन्हें सरकार की योजनाओं का प्रचार करना होगा। In the election year, the Defense Ministry has decided to hand over the work of promoting the schemes of the Modi government to the military and defense establishments.
